That one is in the entry list. The Multimatic is still missing from the list posted on Grand American's web site.

Thanks, Paul. The shot was taken at Mosport's Moss Corner, during the first 1/2 hour of the 2000 race. Miserable wet! It took me two weeks to get over the ensuing cold.

Reynard's response were strengthened rear wing mounts, seen here at Daytona '00:

Mike is correct on this one. I was working for Reynard at the time and helped with the redesign of the wing mounts. The mounts broke due to some pretty shoddy Carbonwork causing a massive stress point at their inside corner.

Apparently the car got fairly airborn and must have landed back down with a heavy impact as the rear chassis was smashed up.

The car was on a cool-down lap at the time and was not even going that quick (~115mph if I recall). Must of scared the hell out of the driver!

Those wing mounts were a problem on the car from the word go. On the first cars the aero load caused the engine cover to flex all over the place.

I just check out the GARRA's site for entry list, now it's 43, including 4 MT900R.......despite the lack of real prototypes, the GTS/Gt field might look quite spectacular...Porsche GT1, Mosler, Ferrari.....
