It's simple, an '01-'02 spec. SRPII chassis, with it's power/weight and Fuel consumption ratios would not only contest overall wins but also post top time/distance numbers for the entire race. It is this that would seriously outclass the DSPs, I mean why would you spend the time, money, and effort creating a new classification of car, only to have your second-level cars practically showing them the way home. It's a triffle bit embarrassing, to say the least.

Seen their official time? The fastest DSP ran 1:48, the slowest in the test I think ran 1:53. The GT Ferrari 360 ran 1:54........a little bit too close?
