Well, I don't like it.
1. The forum has been unreachable to me for over 24 hours. 2. The "little arrow on the left side", which used to bring me to the last new post that was made since I last accessed the forum, now brings me to the last new post that was made since I last tried to reach the forum. 3. --- Forget point 3. I thought the preview-screen had disappeared, but it seems that I clicked the wrong button. --- |

The only bits that bug me are the info bits under the posts. I'd rather have them under your name like before.

I really like the bit with the Bentley at the top of the screen, as for the details, I think they're good.

Points one and two relate directly to the server and software problems we have encountered the past couple of days. I can only apologise for these and assure you that this is not something which will continue. Please don't let it spoil your enjoyment of the site

The best Forum is now better. And I LOVE the poster's location at the bottom. A great touch. (Even though we already knew Hakkiman's location anyway.

I think the location displayed under each post is a good improvement. Like AlanJones said, it saves you from opening a new window, as looking for the location was the main reason I opened forum members' profiles.

It takes a little getting used to I'll admit. But overall the new format is a lot flashier and more colourful then the old format. so, in the words of Barny Gumble(from the Simpsons)

Chris Y: THANK YOU!!!! MWAH!!! I've only put in over 2000 posts and I didn't know that!! I can't use "bold", "italics" or "quote" yet either, let alone add a picture larger than a thumbnail.
HOWEVER, I HAVE A COMPLAINT. I said earlier I like the new look. And I do. BUT....... Try pressing "back". Not JUST pressing back, I mean the little pulley downey menu thing to jump back several pages. BEFORE it told us which forum we were in and I could jump around, forwards and backwards, happy happy. The new look is brilliant !!
I have to admit that the only thing I did use on the site before the revamp was the forums, so I am very happy that the Ten Tenths team have decided to concentrate on this area. Keep up the good work and can't wait for the 10/10ths Fantasy F1 as well !!!!! |
