Team GOH not in LMES 2005
A Belgian site (pitstoptv.be) reports that Audi Team Goh won't no longer be competing in LMES next year, even Le Mans is uncertain...

Why why why? I thought Goh had already booked Tom Kristensen for Le Mans next year.

that makes no sense, i would wait for DSC or someone like that to report on this because this would be a TOTAL 180 in relation to the words of GOH's team principle from just this past weekend

It said in yesterday's Motorsport News that they will decided with in 2 weeks there program for 2005. IMO they will go back to Le Mans to defend there title, as for the LMES not sure.

Personally, I would be very surprised indeed if they weren't back at LM next June.......

This is what Mr Goh himself said to me on race morning at Spa
“It has been an extraordinary year. It is a little too early to confirm what we will be doing next season - but I am looking forward to coming back and racing in Europe again, with the Audi. I have had offers to run programmes in Japanese GTs, but I don’t want to do that.” |

What thatarticle also says is that Audi GB's programme for 2005 is not sure even. Only Champion is sure to be at LM 05. Do the others also know more on the R9?????????????

None of the teams are going to confirm an as yet unannounced programme off the cuff in the Spa paddock - and Mr goh is correct - it is too early to confirm yet
Herr Ullrich says that he hopes the R8 can be competitive for one more year. Audi will want representation in ALMS and LMES if it is. |

Policy on these matters is usually for Audi, through Ullrich to announce the programme in due course, rather than Goh or Veloqx doing so.
I suspect all will work out fine. |

I would be vey disappointed if they wont be there.
we want competition between the "privateers". The livery of the Goh cars is so stylish. |

Pitstop.tv seems to think Goh will still use a R8 in 2005. Is there any confirmation of this? Goh will not participate in LMES, that's for sure.

Ok, if it's sponsor related, would you think it's to do with Canon? They can always approach Nikon if this is the case. I would love to see the Goh Audi at La Sarthe again for sure.
