Charlies should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Even though the big three have shared the spoils in the last three years, given Loeb's form on similar events this year he's got to be the favourite.

a superspecial so not really representative of anything, why oh why do we have to have so many noddy stages, there should be more proper stages and less silly stages that are worthless

The 3.2km Hippodrome SS is used for 3/23 stages and although it may not contribute much to the racing it does give the public an opportunity to see and hear all the cars in relative comfort. It is also the only time the drivers are racing other cars one on one. WRC needs a higher profile in the already crowded market for spectator sports.

amusing to here that even the commentary on the itv4 coverage was flaming matt wilson

"guy wilks looks set to claim a top10 in his first wrc finish one place ahead of matt wilson on his 26th event..." poor lad eh

lets hope this is the start of a decent run of results and hopefully a consistant frontend drive for wilks.

a good finish for marcus, comfortably quicker than loeb throughout the weekend

Good result for Gronholm and the championship Good to see Petter getting a decent finish too although he's still some way off the pace. Encouraging result for Wilks as well

Gronholm needs all the points he can get on the gravel events - Loeb will drive off into the sunset on tarmac.

I'm hoping the double finish for Subaru marks an end to the unreliability they've suffered and that we'll see a 3 way fight for the lead on most events from now on (other than tarmac obviously )

Good to see a closer rally, especially with Subaru back up front. I'm disappointed by Sordo in recent rallies; he should go better on tarmac but he doesn't look like the next Carlos Sainz.

The comments about Guy Wilks vs. Wilson raised a smile. After 26 events and in the latest spec car he should be doing better. It would be interesting to see what Wilks or Kris Meeke would do in the car.

Pity there are so many weeks to wait until Finland.

I'd have to agree with that - Sordo looks to be very much a tarmac specialist in the style of Pannizi, he's certainly not looking like getting any where near Loeb on any other surface and he's losing the team points on loose surfaces.
