[BTCC] Round 3 - Donington Park, 4th May 2008

Race 3, at Donington Park this weekend.

A1GP clash again so presumably we'll have Hindy on hand?

Team 48, where are you?!

Don't forget the predictions competition

They have announced that their main sponsor has pulled out so I am pretty sure you can screw down the lid on Team 48, never to be heard from again.

Well, it's a dual partnership sort of, where money is sent both ways (8% of all other money Carl will collect this season will go back to SA). I assume SA expect more money will flow in the direction to the Salvation Army in the end or they will get a lot of exposure for what it does cost them. Or did I get it wrong, and they don't pay anything at all for their logo?

I agree would have won every race had they bothered to pay for the cars...and they predicted an entry in Le Mans in 2011

Racing Heroes is the charity being put on the Dynamic cars.

As for predictions, Adam Jones I think will be top 3 material with maybe a win.

Jones should be good, had a good run last year but was probibly helped by the weather. Turkington always seems to go well at Donington, so can he get his championship challenge on track?

My concern with Colin T is Matt Jackson and can see both of them engaging in more contact before the seasons out, the fight for top BMW driver seems to be a distraction to them both.

It should be though. In all likelihood, the one that can do the best in that BMW would probably be a high favourite to pick up a ride in a WTCC BMW drive should one become available.

has accidentally used the FP 2 times, not the Quali time, so place 3 downwards on the grid are incorrect.

That article's about the practice session - the qualifying session is mentioned as not having taken place yet at the time the article was published

My grid posted earlier is the qualifying result however (I'll add provisional here).

Been back about an hour or so. The new BTC Toledo's look spot on. The rear wheel drive cars was slow this morning due the front wheel drive car stright line Goddard's, however this afternoon some cones where but out to stop them doing that.

Apart from that not much more to report apart from Josh Hill being on Pole for the both Ginetta race's tomorrow.

And we all know how long a few plastic cones will last during race day in BTCC

Sorry, my bad. Because of a flaw in our cms I couldn't enter Harry Valkhard right away, and I forgot to change it manually. Thanks for the reminder though
