Does the SEAT Leon Eurocup have any TV coverage?

Well, the new ones at least sound the part from what little I've seen so far. Not really a fan of that rear wing, though. Also, I am wondering how long it'll be before we see them showing up in endurance events. |

Eh, I wasn't even thinking of a works team in endurance, just cars filtering down to privateers.

Neither did I. It's simply important for SEAT to race their championship (with privateers) mainly in Europe, I doubt they even think about entering GTs, it's just the support package they use

I think the real reason SEAT left WTCC is money and not different markets.
I was surprised to read they built 450 (!) of the SEAT Leon Supercopa. |

Good to see that. VW could learn from them, IIRC they've never released the Scirrocco Challenge car or the Golfs from the Polish GTI Cup for races outside their respective spec-series. |

Never understood why Opel didn't start a cup with the Corsa or Astra (coupe). Brand promotion without needing to invest millions. Or Mercedes with their new A-class. |

Poland has a GTI Cup now though (link) and from what I've heard VW mandated that the cars be not used outside the Cup.
Well, Opel has the Astra OPC Cup in VLN and I think some of these cars have been seen in some open series here in Germany already and Mercedes had that CLA Racing concept at IAA with an eye towards a one make series (among other things), but the only taker for that so far has been Brasil. It really is a bit of a shame that no one has tried a Cup of Cups/GT3-kind-of-class for touring cars from various one make series. |
