DMN and TinTops June 29th - Lydden

I know we haven't got silverstone out of the way yet but the closing date for this one is just a couple of weeks away.

This is a two day meeting, but both the DMN and TinTops will be out to play on the Sunday.

DMN will have split grids and the TinTops are having a challenge against the PBMW guys.

Should be a great meeting with DMN, TinTops, Intermarque, PBMW's, MG Metros, Tigers and single seaters and a celebration for the Escort.

I'm not really handling the Escort thingy, you would have to speak to Rod about it.

Correct Tim, Rockingham is June 7th. Entry list is now full, but we are taking reserves.
The tin top challenge on June 29th is actually against the Toyo Tyres road saloons, but it will include some of the production BMWs from the easytrack series.

Ah the tin-tops have yes...sorry I should have mentioned that in my initial post! DMN have silverstone and tin-tops have Rockingham.

Dont you trust your agedold uncle then.

Chez, will the Lydden tin top thingy clash with the DMN race or can we change tyres between races and let Tim win his Tin Tops!

One of the pair of races is back to back at the moment, but we did allow time at the classic saloon meeting for people to change tyres and re-fuel. Time to enlist your pit crew Eric (aka the grandchildren).

Andy a bit off the subject here, but who looks after your engine work, as I have a Escort RST that needs an engine rebuild. Thanks Scott.

Good - harking back to 2006 it was hard for the likes of Bill and I who came out of a DMN race and had to get ready straight away for tintops.

Intermarques are in a separate race.

I suspect we could run a mini class if there is enough interest...

Round up some Minis Tris and there will be a class for minis in the intermarque race on Saturday 28th. Currently you are top of the league in this class.
