Finished under safety car. Rather poor form IMO, should have aborted the race and do a short race tomorrow morning instead of qualifying and let race 2 start where the drivers finished in R1.

Worth pointing out that Mr Dane and Mr B. Jones are on the SC board.

Their opinions carry a little more weight than that of others on pitlane.

Im not convinced that is totally correct

roland is part of the supercars commission who are responsible for the operation manual that CAMS adhere to. Brad is also one

Once again the rule is a bit vague, it does refer to 50% race distance being needed to be completed

Rule 15.4.5 If a race is stopped before 50 percent of the scheduled race distance/duration has been completed by the leading Car and cannot be restarted, no points will be awarded.

But we managed a restart, even if it was extremely dodgy, according to Garry, thus the issue has arisen. somewheer the commission will have to meet and clear this up, but the roland has the most to gain from this (1-2-3) thus the question
