Rowdy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Big improvers 2003

Several teams/drivers have improved throughout 2003, DJR (steady improvers), SER (bath/sandown), LMS (bargs in last 2 rounds)and team Dynamik. Will any of these teams make the next step and be trully competetive with the front runners or is their any other dark horses for 2004. Personally i think LMS but I am a touch biased

I'll be very interested to see how mark Winterbottom goes next year at LMS. He has dominated the konica series but all his predecers who have made the jump in previous years have been disappointing.

I agree Mr Jucy. At this stage Winterbottom looks outstanding, but only after a few rounds next year will we be able to tell.

The series is so competitive that, like F1, it is very difficult for teams lower down to rise up to the top quickly. It takes time, great management, great drivers and a lot of $$.

Any of the team have the potential to rise to the top, but whether they can string together all of the necessary ingridients is the big question.

LMS are certainly makes moves in the right directions though.

Thexton made leaps and bounds by the time he got to NZ, heck he even passed someone (Tratt) during a race!!!

The biggest dissapointment would be FPR.....

In talking to a number of people about the Winterbottom move, I dont think there is a downside to be found. MW will do well in the Orrcon team, he may take some time to learn circuits he hasnt raced on, but should benefit from a lead driver who has been to all the tracks, most in the BA.

The Orrcon car was spoken of quite highly in terms of chassis, but a lack of poke seemed to be the problem. All fixed now.

I agree Timu when FPR kicked off this season I knew they would be a big disappointment and FPR should of known that a 3 car team straight out of the box is not a viable proposition especially in the first 2 years. Now they have to revert to a 2 car team because FPR finally woke up to the fact that running a 3 car team isn't a winning formula and I never saw HRT start out with 3 cars in their debut season that is plain lunacy.

Mark Webber has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
