I am surprised they even made mention of the incident at the awards given that there is another stewards inquiry in Melb later in the week.

SBR loses most in that, given that its 2,000km from Yatala, but just up the road for SHRT.

There has to be a better way of managing that process, making the stewards come to the teams instead of the other way round, or meeting in a common and equally inconvenient location?

I know its the last round of the season, and there will be no more meeetings for the group to get together at, but surely there is a smarter way out there somewhere

Watching Skaife manhandle Ross Stone on the replay at the awards night, I thought deserved an even bigger penalty than was awarded against him.

More than mildly unprofessional, worse than the junk on the track in my view.. and in the world outside motorsport, amounts to a physical assault.

The "I'm above everybody else" attitude hasn't won too many fans since it was offerred to us in 1987.

Now it appears to be only getting worse...

I agree. Russell's attitude rubs me up the wrong way too.

That's exactly why it can't happen, GTR, because it would make sense.....

I thought Russell was just trying to keep the heat in his tyres. And I mentioned somewhere else, I did ask last night why the difference in penalties, but I forgot the reason.

Was he trying to get near Skaife because he was on fire?
