Someone told me Gene Rollinson was at Hampton today running a car. Don't know whose car it was.
He is someone that does a great job when given a chance.

The Maverick car was definitely there - but I don't believe Rollinson was in it, it was driven around by Ninkranz and another fellow.

Gene thanked the owner of the car on FB for letting him turn some laps, and the owners response was something along the lines of "no worries, your lap times were great", so assume he might have been the "other fellow"?

With enduro drivers, still no home for K Scott? Perhaps cos he'll be in the Hyundai, bit of publicity for it Mark? Run it at HD to show what it can do to potential buyers.

Bell - Youlden coming back?
Booth - D'alberto coming back?
Evans - Reid driven the car, what Simons his brother up to, date clashes?

The other fellow I was refering to is a touring car debutante who was still learning along with Ninkranz. So they must've had three guys doing laps in it on the day

Ninkranz car was driven by Michael, Brett Copley and Gene Rollinson last week. Gene was the quickest of the three but he has V8ST experience.

V8ST themselves haven't officially used his name in any of their releases. But I have seen his name mentioned by one of the V8ST uniforms online. I assume that his name was used in the release email from V8ST to the teams and personnel.

I can confirm DT is currently in San Fran on America's Cup duties. As per previous ST Rounds (except for the last Round at Puke) TV3 is assisting V8ST with the Television coverage, including Shaun hosting onsite plus a full multi camera outside broadcast Production undertaken. Commentary team includes Jamie & Drakie with the Races also being provided to Speed TV in Australia.

I tried to post before from my so called smartphone and it timed out. Anyway, thanks Nigel for confirming tv3's involvement in future v8st events. We know from previous same weekend coverage that the quality is high and makes for good watching on 'motorsport sundays'. Great stuff and good to hear the commentary team, including Shaun , will be doing there thing.

Anymore news on svg's co driver? I am 99% sure it will be Jeroen.
