It is not proven. But the rules allow homologstion of composite panels, wonder why these competitive teams didn't do it before?

Finally, thank goodness, a composite bonnet similar in weight to an aluminium bonnet and much lighter than steel will be fitted. Common sense finally prevails. |

It hasn't just been added to the rules. If PRA were as good St engineering as they are at complaining they would be winning like 888 do.
What is their excuse for the VF e beating them so much, I wonder? Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk |

errr, no, the discussion I was referring to was very clearly discussing the other teams moving to composite panels and the costs/difficulty of doing so.

Ford and Nissan both declined to homologate new parts at the start of last year, when they clearly could have homologated composite panels.

But if ford and Nissan went to composite parts at the start of last year, then Holden with its non composite roof would have been at a disadvantage. Thus forcing them to change. All that work for zero gain. This years we had a change because the new commodore needed to have a composite roof We do know that the falcon was rejected for composite bits at the start of the FG X Last edited by peckstar; 22 Mar 2018 at 01:22. |
