Podiums for BAR HONDA
To state that BAR may have some podiums this season a few months ago was to be laughed at. Now however, the question becomes, can they double up and have both drivers on the podium at an event?
It would only take an error from Ferrari or Williams to make it happen. |

Having seen the races so far, I see absolutely no reason why not.

I voted "Are you on drugs?" simply cos it's a more interesting question...
Honestly, whilst McLaren find an engine fit for more than 12 laps and Ralf and JPM find a new psychiatrist each, BAR could remain Ferrari's closest threat, so yep it's possible. What we're really asking, I guess, is "Will Sato get a podium?" - he has a chance, because he seems to be learning, and he seems to have the raw speed, I'm just not sure he can get it all together in one race. If he does, then we're just talking probabilities as to whether Jenson does too. Clear? |

Don't think so; of course nothing's impossible under the Heaven, but It would need twoi conditions altogether: One Ferrari missing it (not too hard) and FWs and Renaults not taking profit of it.
Honestly hard to happen. |

It would need a particularly impressive race from both drivers, as Jenson doesn't consistantly ahve the edge over Williams and Renault, and Taku is generally in the mix with them. However, it's defiantely a possibility, at least until McLaren get their act together.

I have been impressed with Taku so far this season, he's had 2 engine failures, both near the end of a race and he's been in a points scoring position so far.
Will they both get on the podium in the same race? I doubt it, but i don't see why Taku can't get a podium at some stage this year |

I think Sato has really improved since OZ and maybe torwards the end of the season on his own merit but more likly through high retirement rate. There is still too many drivers better that him.

I'd say so, given that Rubens can be inconsistent. But I'd be very surprised if the podium includes Michael, and he is not on the top step.

It wouldn't suprise me if they did but with at least one Ferrari always on the podium it's going to take a brilliant drive from their two drivers.

I might be biased, but having a look at the way Sato drives, he still makes a fair few little mistakes that costs him both in qualifying and in the race. Until he irons those out, either by playing golf or practising harder, I don't think we'll see Sato join Button on the podium for a while yet.

It's interesting, but they will probably need to do it if they are to secure the 2nd place in constructors they want.

Well, they certainly could. No one can deny that they are the team most likely at the moment.

I think they're bette roff without JV, to be honest, and they've got every chance of getting a 2-3 finish. Sato's poor reliability can't continue indefiantely.
