HSCC Formula Fords at Donington

Looking through the provisional entry list a couple of notable absentees leap out of the page

Guy Minshaw and Neil Fowler

I know Neil had said that he was going to concentrate more of prepping customer Lola's this year.

Any news on why Guy isnt showing?

Any other late entries/withdrawls?

My understanding was that the Minshaws weren't going to do full seasons anyway. And as for Neil not being there - that might be a good thing from the point of view of the competition! Looks like a great entry, already over-full!

I agree Ian the more open it is the better Bancroft, Hadfiled, Minshaw J, Lowe or Pearson for the win

Must say that I'm very much looking forward to the HSCC season opener - one of only two rounds I am set to catch this year, unfortunately.

Whereas the overall win will probably go one of about six ways the beauty of the historic FF's, as with more contemporary FF1600, is that there are always battles right through the grid so the race is very rarely boring

Can I just remind any of you racing at Donington, please try and stagger yourselves on the grid!!!!!

Just for once please get it right, then I won't need to nag at you all. Mind you , I suppose knowing me I still will.

See you all on Sunday.

Shame on me??? What did I say? If you read the sentence the praise is for FF1600 in the whole
It doesn't say "unlike" it says "as with"

It's a difficult one - my gut feeling is that he should go to the bottom of the list with one of the reserves being bumped up the order.

HSCC yesterday

bit of a torried time for me, ended by a little (??) spin just before the start/finish straight when I ended up on the grass, but still didn't stall the engine!!

I think there were only 3 of you who found the slippy bits between Starkey's bridge & Shwantz??? curve, but you all scored 9+ for artistic impression,if not technical merit!!!
