On the Airport, I like it, definetely good racing there with interesting corners.

About the last one, Lee, the outer loop looks daunting and spectacular...

Lee Janotta should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Okay, here it is... I think I'm really starting to hit my stride now.

Turn 1 is a big 180 which climbs uphill the whole way, ascending about 6 feet by the end of the turn. The track continues to climb as you turn left into the esses, then it slowly starts to level out as you run up the straightaway to Willow corner, a big, long, flat constant-radius turn.

As you exit the turn, the track strarts a long plunge downhill, into a flat-out left hander at the bottom of the hill... It'll take pure balls and a lot of skill to get through that, then lake-brake into the Donahue chicane. You go in hard, brake late, then excellerate through the second half, down a short straight, into a steeply banked hairpin which then sends you back uphill, through a fast kink, then into an uphill braking zone for another hairpin. Once you hit the apex, you're heading downhill again, heading down to a sharp right, then through a section of fast wide curves, past the grandstands, the bottom of the track, a wide right-hander you'll have to shed some speed for, then get right onto the throttle again for the long curved pit straight, headed back into the super-hard braking zone for turn 1 again.

Here's what i've been working on lately, i'm not really in the mood to explain every single curve and corner, maybe i'll add an explanation later...

It should be in the style of Spa with the pits as the lowest point and the first double right corners the highest point.. (that one to the top-right of the pic)

That's a _big_ improvement.

Now it's very technical and challenging, _but_ provides racing opportunities.

I have been working on this for many years and I have design a street track around my home city of Wakefield West Yorkshire here in the UK. The track length is 2.3 miles. I have produce the track map using Autoroute 2000 and here is the track.

Hmm... Those roundabout chicanes are pretty evil-looking... But the basic layout looks quite good.

It's hard to make a good street course. You really just have to get lucky, with roads that suggest a good track on their own.

There is also quite alot of height gain in the first part of the lap which is then lost on the blast down the duel carrigeway which make the last half of the lap

Lee, I still prefer that "club" track you "just threw together". That one reminds me of the current Silverstone or Nurburgring. Corner-straight-corner-straight. Very difficult to get a rhythm going. The thing it has going for it is that the corners are pretty fast. I like the run down to the last turn.

®îjñtjûh, that track is VERY similar to a little go-kart track I know at Windsor in Western Sydney, called Butterfly Farm. Not a bad track. I think it would be more suitable for bikes than for cars.

rd, that LOOKS pretty good. It's really hard to tell with street circuits. The corners remind me of Surfers and Vancouver.

I will be adding this week's track later on tonight. It's one of my faves.

As previously stated, I really like this one.

I'm not going to give anymore detailed circuit descriptions, as I like to think I could adapt my tracks to pretty much any terrain.

However, there are particularly good passing opportunities at turn 1 and the turn 4 chicane, and a half chance into the hairpin at the top of the circuit.

Turns 2&3 would be very good. But, my favourite bit would be the run from the chicane up to the hairpin. Fast and tricky.

Rd, I am inspired, here is a race through the streets of Brisbane. I doubt the green thumbs would like me destryoing the botanical gardens to host a motor race, but they'll have to live with it.

The track will host a full V8 Supercar championship round, with ALMS supporting the series with a 3 hour race as the sun sets.

It passes many of the major places in Brisbane. The end of the Queen Streel Mall, Grey Street, the Convention Centre, South Bank Parklands, Casino etc. The whole city would be in chaos for the course of the week, but it would be fun.

Pitlane Goes Here

What a lovely city. Even lovelier with an Audi R8 screaming through the botanical gardens.

Oh well here's my contribution, a cross between Warwick Farm in Australia and Brands Hatch, called Longworth Park.

My faves SO FAR are:
- HOMETOWN - it is quite a unique layout, it's designed around the streets around my home, and therefore I know how awesome some of the corners would be.
- PEACOCK PARK - I love the way there is so much variation and excitement packed into not a very big area. It would also be great for spectating.
- WYNSCLIFFE - 2 good passing spots, some great corners, but the clincher is the run from the chicane to the hairpin.

Honourable mention to:
- PARADISO - long, 3 passing and some nice little sections.

Speed Demon, that is one of the best tracks I've seen in a while. Really nice.

Thanks mac, glad you like it. Turns 1, 2 and 3 would be pretty spectacular thanks to elevation changes similar to The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca - except much faster. Turn 4 should be good for overtaking. You've also got to imagine it set among hillsides which include pine trees and apple orchards (a strnage mix I know, but that's what it is like where I live, honest!).

It's a pretty short, pretty straightforward track.

It's got 2 passing spots at turns 1 and 8, with a half-chance at turn 3.

There are some good corners also at turn 2 and the esses over the back.

It's a great track for spectating and would produce some excellent racing.

Your thoughts?

Nice little club course, Mac. I could see that easily in a suburban setting.
