jj2728, an excellent choice! I still think that's one of the most emotive photos i've ever seen, not just in terms of motorsport.
Consider that he's just won his first world championship GP, and see how strained he looks. It never ceases to amaze me that the track he hated so deeply was the scene of that first victory and one that he dominated for the following three years. I contacted Jesse Alexander last year about getting a print - the two sizes he does are 11" x 14 and 16 x 20, at $750 and $950 respectively. Way out of reach right now, but if i had the money i wouldn't even hesitate. Having not yet attended a GP, the 2003 Mount Stuart Classic remains my best f1 experience. There are better shots from the weekend, but Sato looning around in the BAR still brings a grin to my face! Last edited by gi_gav; 28 May 2004 at 12:26. |
