ESTC Expanding

The ESTC is expanding next year, to include two dates on British circuits - Silverstone in May, and Donington in August. The 2001 series is set to become a true Euro series as there are plans for it to visit a whopping ten countries, including Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy and the UK.

BTCC works teams, Prodrive and 888 are said to be expressing an interest in joining JAS in the series. Could this mean they will not be in the BTCC at all next term, or maybe they're just trying to twist someone's arm ?

This is very good news. Perhaps all the manufacturers can race again, at least for another year? I hope they can continue for a few more years!!! Better yet, I hope the races are broadcast on British TV? Are the current races covered?

I had a look on Autosport and the ESTC site but could find nothing.

It is hardly good news for the BTCC is it ? Then again, if we lose those big money teams, maybe we'll get Bowman et al taking their place Let's hope that Prodrive feck off, cheating *****

The series is covered on Eurosport as the station is apparently involved in helping to get the series off the ground.
