As I'm heading to Croft for the second time in 10 years, where does a hungry marshal find breakfast these days?

There is a Cafeteria now up by race control. and trailer down by the assembly area. Both are not bad now. May well be other outlets due to the size/nature of the meeting.

I've only ever been to Croft once - when it re-opened as a race venue. My "post" was a set of tyres plus a field to run in to! It has all changed now so I can't be much help.
I remember on that occasion following the guy through the paddock and across the track and him proudly announcing they'd mowed some of the set aside for use by the marshals. When asked about toilets etc. he said "well there's that tree"! We waited until he'd gone before finding a place within the paddock - close to the loos etc.! Us marshals, hey, we're obviously made of (not so) strong stuff! |
