Legand Or Looser
Who was your Legand or Looser from Bathurst on the weekend.
Personally I think Brad Jones was fantastic on the weekend. The looser well there was a few David Besnard, Paul Morris, Simon Wills and Larry Perkins. What are your Thoughts?????????? |

I will add both Todd Kelly and Greg Murphy to the legends while there were numerable amount of losers although Ambrose and Perkins vie for the idiot of the day.

Pretty much go along with what's already been said here.
Brad Jones - what a brilliant drive. Just awesome, hopefully this will be a turning point in his V8 Supercar career. And a great big wedgie to Morris in the Big Kev Pace Car, getting in the way of the leaders during the critical closing stages of the race but also pitting and doing it to them again 2 or so laps later. What an outstanding effort - thanks must go to Matt Neal for the driving tips. |

The whole Ozemail team was fantastic. John Bowe was very quick, while I was quite impressed by Steven Ellery and Geoff Brabham's quite run to sixth place. Nice performance too by the second DJR car, and of course race winners, Mark Skaife and Longhurst. As jetsetter said, Murphy and Kelly did really well too. And what about Alan Jones! Brilliant
Idiot of the day was a close contest, with Wills, Perkins and Morris all vying for the title. Too close to call. |

Morris I believe the problem is that you dont have the aluminium stick in the centre of the rear screen as it acts as the antenna to the device. Any warranty issues can be reffered to DR Eric Dowker Chiropractor VIC

Crash - your kidding right?
Lowndes a disapointment? I watched him literally streak away from the field in a dominant performance before the wet track incident that ruled the car out of contention after being three laps down. Brad Jones, yes, Seton/Richards, yes and car 18 with Ritter especially impressing. |

It's not a matter of who wears the pants in our family but who's got the BALL'S. I think she lend them to me one day if I make a Come back.

Morris the BALL'S
Mr Moffat, Seton would have to be a Looser I would like to see this guy race some one one day instead of pulling over to let everyone pass him. |

Now now Moff- I listed him as good and as bad- good for the drive, bad for driving it into the wall. That was no better than what Larry and Ambrose did...
Did anyone else think of 1992 when it ****ed down and Lowndes et all went off? I dunno, maybe it was the constant changing of camera shots depicting crashed/spun cars....but that was scary... |

After reading the 'Team Kiwi out' thread it sounds like the TAFE Team are the legends - again! There's no doubt about those guys (& gals?).
Jones & Cleland really did do a fantastic job, but is anybody really surprised? Both are proven winners, it's just been a matter of putting the right equipment under them. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come for Brad & the Ozemail team (no guarantee though of course ). |

Ive gotta agree with Emfa on this one ..the TAFE crew did an outstanding job ..but as for the race ...
Jones and Cleand were the legends of the day ..and a good effort by Ellery and Brabham I think..Ritter and Mclean did well..basically there were more legends than losers i think because most did a good job all day. Losers..easy isnt it Morris , Perkins , Ambrose and barry Sheene. allthough Bazza seemed to do well in the Pirtek test ..3 seconds off Ambrose isnt that bad ..in fact thats closer than Besnard isnt it ??? contract coming your way barry |

I suppose if Sheene did get a drive, they wouldn't be able to shut him up while in the car....the weekend was a bit of an embaressment whenever they tried the old "how are you going there <insert drivers name>?....ahhh, hello?.....anyone there?" to get a big fat bundle of silence...

You'd have to wonder if the drivers could actually hear them or just didn't want to talk to them.

Thats the difference between those guys and the GREAT "Garry Wilkinson" and Allan Moffat, no one ever brushed those guys. Its sad they don't commentate on the mountain.

the stupidest one ive ever seen was earlier this year in an IRl race (yes I know this is a V8 forum) the commentators tried to talk to a driver as they were on the roll around before the race ..just ready to come up to speed.
the driver replied "I dont know who the (expletive) is talking to me but this is a real dumb time to be doing it" as the lights went green. needless to say they quickly turned the mic off ...paused for about 10 seconds ...and then relized the race had started clowns |
