Lola and Mastercard should get together again in F1. Do a serious job of it this time. Imagine the accolades if they could make it work? What a challenge.

Lola should stay well away from Mastercard. Lola had planned to enter properly in 1998, spending all of 1997 developing the. Mastercard forced Lola into entering the 97 season very late and the result was a car extremely undeveloped and primative.

When the inevitable happened and they failed to qualify at Melbourne, Mastercard got cold feet and withdrew their backing, hence bankrupting Lola. Had they waited until 1998, IMO they would have been a very competent team.
