Thanks BARC for a great meeting

Anyone who was at Mallory today will have enjoyed some glorious sunshine, some fantastic racing and a 1655 finish. In fact some (all?) of the punters who paid an arm and a leg getting in to San Marino would have been better off spectating at Mallory. At least they would have seen what motor racing should be like!

Thanks BARC for a great day.

It was indeed a very good day - slickly done. I didn't catch up with you Sheila but I expect I will next Saturday...

Alan said he'd seen you Ian and he says that you are looking forward to Saturday. I'm sure you will come across me at some point in the day - I'm deputy Clerk of the Course so you'd better be on your best behaviour otherwise I'll tell Cliff!

In fact unless you promise to write something nice about our sprint in MN or Autosprout I might make something up

I'll second the thanks.
Superb racing, lots of action and well organised.
Thanks everyone. It reminds of why I keep coming back! This makes up for so many of the ' not so good ones'.

And talking of help - thanks to Andrew and Tracey for assisting so well in the removal of the Escort after it all but demolished our pit lane entrance. Slick job by all concerned which earned us thanks from Race Control and Andy McLeod for a job extremely well done.

Forgot to add Ian Willetts to my list of people to thank. We found him lurking in the speccie area opposite the pit lane exit. The conversation went something like: "OI, what are you doing over there? Get over the bridge, up to Race Control, sign on and come and give us a hand".

Bless him he did exactly that and was a great help. I do hope he persuaded someone to refund his entry money!

Sheila, next time you have that worrying feeling please have it else where (or at least don't tell us). The Doctor started sweating thinking about work........

We tried to have a quiet day in the assembly area without dealling with any incidents.

But no one Escort driver has to try and enter the pit lane sideways. Good job he hit the enterance or he would not have fitted in that way round anyway.

Yes, some excellent racing, I was really looking forward to the Legends Final...

Unfortunatly, the oil slick into The Esses had us cowering behind the tyre wall as car after car slithered towards us.
We did, however put in a re-appearance to extinguish the little grass fire that started beneath the car in the tyre wall.

Bet we won't have any grass fires this weekend..
