[09VSCWintonTest] What's going on (with Large Pictures :))
I'm sitting here at Winton and we are coming up to 57 minutes into todays V8Supercar Charity Test Day with proceeds going to the Bushfire victims.
I suppose most reading this will be wanting to know times so here goes; Tander 1:24.7162 Caruso 1:25.2040 Winterbottom 1:25.2830 Kelly R 1:25.2838 Holdsworth 1:25.2881 Richards 1:25.3798 D'alberto 1:25.4442 McConville 1:25.6560 Dumbrell 1:25.7228 Davison 1:26.1656 The above has been manually typed in so hopefully I got it right. 17 cars on track so far. Good crowd in attendance. |

1st incident of the day with one of the cars (missed the number) spinning off the sweeper starting a small grass fire which was quickly extinguished by the every efficient RACESAFE Safety Team.

im sitting at the 2nd last corner. There has been a major incident involving marcus zukanavic. Writing this on my mobile atm. It doesnt look good. I wont go into detail because rumours are not good. I hope marcus is ok. The session has been stopped 4 over 30 mins now. Fingers crossed all is ok

As an official of the event I'm limited in what I'm allowed to post but Marcus is OK and off to hospital with non life threatening injuries after leaving the track at Turn 11 and contacting the wall. the delay was due to, as always, the medics taking all the usual precautions

yeah pretty hot in the sun , around 30 to 32 degrees I would say , Im back in Albury now at 3.45pm and its 33 here.
A strange one sitting in the garage all alone , no driver , no tools , no mechanics , no truck no Nothing just sitting there ??? Anyone know what the go is with that ?

Marcus Zukanavic before his accident today.
I have some after shots but I will withhold them for now until we know his condition. as PVDA has said above he has been taken to Wangaratta hospital but was awake and alert according to the medics. fingers crossed he gets well soon.
