peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
It seems like a v8 website/forum that many of us on here posted in for many years has gone. Shame, it introduced me to online v8 forums. But had been quiet for many years

If it's the above forum then I'm in the same boat. Good memories good arguments. Great place to be back in the day but hadn't been on there for many years now so drifted off the radar as I became more involved with Tenths.

I wonder what Dave Moy is up to these days

Can't come soon enough. Speedcafe (as the apparent motorsport news industry leader in Oz) has been found out twice in the past week after being VERY slow to report on the LDM/Candyman saga, and to this point in time is horribly silent on the whole Erebus/Plus Fitness story.

Here's hoping the new Auto Action has a strong online presence that is on top of its game in writing and commenting on the big/tricky/touchy stories, and not just another outlet that rewrites inane press releases on new liveries/helmet designs etc etc

Perhaps Speedcafe weren't 100% happy with the validity of the sources and thus decided to hold fire until satisfied, these were after all evolving stories. I would much prefer this approach, than publishing a half-baked story based on shaky information, or dare I say it, unfounded internet forum gossip, that has happened in the past. Speedcafe has broken a number of big stories over the years, and I can't recall it having to make many retractions.

Just got the latest issue of AUSTRALIAN MUSCLE CAR issue 91.

It has got smaller in size again.

Last month 122 pages, this month 114, a reduction of 7%.

Seems the owners are trying to kill it by 1000 stabs.........

I feel that James Phelps's insightful opinions do not get enough airtime.

I say they give him a whole show to himself. It'll be easier to avoid him that way.
