Mondron brothers will race with Delahaye Racing in Benelux series. They will drive two Leóns, but I knew that Delahaye had to run two Golfs, mbah...

One Seat... The BLX series does longer races and two drivers per car.

Great news! Facebook TCR Germany's page reports also a news about Target Competition running in the series with Jürgen Schmarl.

Meanwhile, next month Top Run will organize a test in Mugello with the Imprezas. Apparently there are many teams interested in the project.

Two more Golfs for the Benelux series:

http://www.autosport.be/news/wrt-en-...elux-2016.html

Not sure if I like all the mixed VW/Seat teams, but of course good news for the series as a whole. Must be close to their targeted minimum goal of 15 cars for the first season.

So far only confirmed entries from Belgium.
Hope this is not a sign here will be only a few cars from the Netherlands.

A bit sceptical: 23 cars in Germany, while the International had only 16-17 cars in 2015.

I hope the International will have almost the same number of cars as the German series, but manufacturer will considerably increase the production this year, so it won't be a problem.

I would have preferred to have various national series and a world final, as in the Super Touring era, but it's still good. We'll see

Demand for cars seems to be crazy high - the Benelux series only starts in May with the purpose of having enough cars available by then.

And Kissling apparently have 70 orders for Opel Astras.

Giacon family will drive three cars in the Italian series. A TCR for Jonathan (León Cup Italy champion) and two TCS for Kevin and another driver yet to be announced.

The TCR car could be a León, but that's not sure; the TCS will be an Italian car but it's not specified which (Alfa, I think).

It's a bit weird seeing Imprezas circuit racing. Not bad weird, just weird. Impressive numbers for the German series.

Funny, the Peugeot hasn't even been officially announced so far... and the last article I had read suggested that seeing a TCR-version in 2016 was rather unlikely...

Local homologation for the BLX series, perhaps?

Could be, but as far as I know TCR cars have to be homologated internationally before they can compete in national championships. The article said (sic): "Peugeot should officialize the four top drivers who will take the wheel of the 308 DG Sport soon."

My guess is that they will be able to 'borrow' two Peugeot 308 from the factory, as the car won't be sold to customers yet. IF the story is true of course.

EDIT: the same article also mentioned two Honda Civic for Boutsen Ginion Racing, one of them being supported by Honda Belgium.

You wouldn't be able to post a photo or a scan of said article? Sounds very interesting in any case, especially with some importers getting behind the series in a way that hasn't happened in quite a while in Benelux racing.
