Can anyone help? I would like to locate a reproduction rally sign company - does anyone know of any? My father recently restored a Y Type MG reg UMG 662. He saw a photograph of this car in a book entitled 'MG Photo Archive 1945 - 1964', by David Knowles. The car was entered into the 1954 Monte Carlo Rally and driven by Gregor Grant. The photo depicts a Monte Carlo Rally sign on top of the vehicle, and we would very much like to have an exact replica made to complete the restoration. Help :-)

Sorry, can't help on the rally plate front, but it's good to see another old rally car still around!
There might also be information on the car in a book titled 'The Works MG's', by Peter Browning- published by Haynes a couple of years ago, if you're interested Just a thought- if you haven't already, it might be worth contacting the Historic Rally Car Register for help- even if they can't help, I'm sure they'd be interested to know about the car.
