It's a valid news item if she was an unwilling participant, perhaps, especially if the alleged driver used his position to procure the event. Otherwise IMO it's a non-story. I don't remember racing drivers having to take a vow of celebacy. Probably quite the opposite, in fact

Hate to break it to ya darling, most of the drivers are not single so therefore sleeping with Grid Girls is out of the question (if you actually are a decent human being). Also Marriage vows tend to say you cannot spread your seed all over the place. As for Riana being pregnant she is on Facebook with public access to page and if you actually did some research babes, you might see that she has the power to announce it.

well if thats the case and it was consensual before he was married he is commiting no crime and just having abit of fun and good on him, no biggy.

No he was single at the time but the team had strict rules concerning this type of thing and she was let go. He changed teams shortly after

I believe thats the 10 commandments your referring too, not Australian law. As far as i'm aware, adultery is not illegal here so therefore it you thats saying it, not the law, what your talking about is morals and not just from the guy if the girl knew he was married.

Who says the driver wasn't being decent when he bedded the girl?

Adultery was against the law and was used to produce fault in divorces in court, adultery is breaking the law of marriage (why they made the family court)its why we sign pieces of paper and have witnnesses and then have to go to court to end it

Laws come in many forms both legal and moral, euthanasia for example, sex with a minor (under 16) they come from morals, the judgement of society. So technically if this girl was or is a grid girl, she has signed a contract, signed confidentially and a morals clause, if she is representing the V8 supercars or a sponsor or a team, she can technically be fired, sued or not get paid due to this, it can bring the sport or team in disrepute......not to mention the driver involved.. There is a fine line here when professionlism is questioned...if it happened during race meets - technically the drivers are still on duty the whole weekend of the race and are representing their chosen sponsor etc

Gees you think people would read your own employee contracts and see what you really can and cant do whilst working!!!

It wasn't the law and still isn't. A long time ago it was grounds for divorce, but you never got a criminal record and slung in jail for it.

The family court does not hand out fines/jail sentences for adultery because it's simply no illegal, there are no 'marriage laws' as such, maybe marriage vow's which are really just promises partially based on morals.

Morals and laws are different things. However laws COULD be based on morals, you've given two of them, and if adultery was to be law, then it would be another example.

How do you know the grid girl signed a moral clause not to engage in relations with a driver? i'd suggest a contract of that nature impinges on a persons rights. We also don't know when this occurred, weather the driver was on or off duty etc
so many unknowns so we can't jump to conclusions
