I reckon this probably has been asked before, but does anyone know what Colciago is up to these days?

But in which team? Maserati has not confirmed customer teams by now...

I think Giova is going to race a Seat in 2005

This year he competed in the ETCS (Endurance Touring Car Series) with an Alfa 147 GTA run by A.G.S. Motorsport, shared with Alberto Radaelli.
They were classified 2nd overall after they lead the championship until the final race in Monza where they retired, and 1st of their division.

I really hope next year he could run in the WTCC, because I think he is one of the best touring car driver.

Agreed - not to mention his aggressive driving style lead to quite a few rather interesting moments

On the new fiawtcc.com there is a pic of 2005 cars in Monaco...well, near Alfa, BMW, SEAT, Chevrolet and Ford there is also a...BRILLIANCE.. I never thought it would be on the track next year, but I thought it was like the Skoda Superb project..(I know the Superb was in Brno in 2003, and then nowhere...)

German Seat Leon Supercopa champion Sebastian Stahl (stepbrother of the Schumacher brothers!) and Peter Terting (2nd in Seat Leon Supercopa championship) have tested the Seat Cordoba ETCC car at the Calafat circuit near Barcelona early December. This testdrive was a reward for their performance in the championship.

Maybe one of them will drive the 3rd Seat instead of other German Diefenbacher?

Were the Superbs even raced or just displayed there hoping to get some attention from (potential) sponsors? Were the cars there in race trim or just race shells?

They never raced with the Suberbs.

China Racing will enter 3 Brilliance M1 cars instead of 2, see www.fiawtcc.com.

Two experienced drivers and 1 Chinese?

I thought that it was already common knowledge for quite a while that Brilliance was gonna run 3 cars. IIRC it was in the Motorsport Aktuell a couple of weeks ago. Surely you read that magazine, don't you?

I thought they would enter 2 cars (driven by 2 experienced former BTCC drivers). And no I don't read Motorsport Aktuell. Do I miss something?

Absolutely. The MSa is, together with Autosport, the weekly bible on motorsport in Europe. It's a lot easier to get in Holland than the Autosport, and only costs 2,10 euro.

In my local bookshop they have only Auto, Motor & Sport, but that's more a car magazine.

I'm afraid I have to say: I think so. Terting is still Audi- Junior, it would make sense if he drove for Seat.

Good question, I don't know! Diefenbacher was hired because Seat wanted a German driver in order to advertise. But- I've never seen a tv-spot with a Seat- Racecar...
