I reckon this probably has been asked before, but does anyone know what Colciago is up to these days?

They were classified 2nd overall after they lead the championship until the final race in Monza where they retired, and 1st of their division. pics here: http://www.gruppoperoni.it/promotion...allery&camp=12 I really hope next year he could run in the WTCC, because I think he is one of the best touring car driver. |

On the new fiawtcc.com there is a pic of 2005 cars in Monaco...well, near Alfa, BMW, SEAT, Chevrolet and Ford there is also a...BRILLIANCE.. I never thought it would be on the track next year, but I thought it was like the Skoda Superb project..(I know the Superb was in Brno in 2003, and then nowhere...)

Source: www.motorsport-xl.de Maybe one of them will drive the 3rd Seat instead of other German Diefenbacher? |

Were the Superbs even raced or just displayed there hoping to get some attention from (potential) sponsors? Were the cars there in race trim or just race shells?

China Racing will enter 3 Brilliance M1 cars instead of 2, see www.fiawtcc.com.
Two experienced drivers and 1 Chinese? |

I thought that it was already common knowledge for quite a while that Brilliance was gonna run 3 cars. IIRC it was in the Motorsport Aktuell a couple of weeks ago. Surely you read that magazine, don't you?

Absolutely. The MSa is, together with Autosport, the weekly bible on motorsport in Europe. It's a lot easier to get in Holland than the Autosport, and only costs 2,10 euro.

In my local bookshop they have only Auto, Motor & Sport, but that's more a car magazine.

Good question, I don't know! Diefenbacher was hired because Seat wanted a German driver in order to advertise. But- I've never seen a tv-spot with a Seat- Racecar...
