Kimi, the Partyman
A little over fortnight ago here in Finland we had midsummer weekend, during which people use to party outdoors and drink a lot or a little - usually A WHOLE LOT - of alcohol.
Kimi Raikkonen also followed that finnish tradition and a lucky cameraman(woman) captured Kimi - the partyman - in action on top of his yacht during midsummer weekend. On the following clips Kimi is - think he is - trying to spear a nearby boat with an antenna he has cut off of his boat but gets his throw slightly ....err... miscalculated. This incident has been quite big news in local yellow papers with headlines "Kimi's damp midsummer". Glad he's ok. Clip 1 (grabbing the antenna) Clip 2 (the throw) Go Kimi!

LOL! Very funny! I reckon he had sunk a few when he threw that javelin... That could have been a fatal fall no sweat. Funny though.
Only the second clip has Kimi in it for anyone who is on a slow connection - like me. |

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed.

Actually Kimi was probably referring to this incident in his home language part of nurburgring post qualifying press conference when he said that lately he hasn't been getting enough support in his home country. I think he was spot on with that comment.
