Help needed
Just after some help with a few questions
Who is the heaviest driver in the V8 paddock? Skaife, Morris, Johnson, Tander Me thinks:Morris Also, Jim Richards is a Kiwi yeah?? And what nationality is Win Percy? Would you say that a holden ute has raced at bathurst?? Obvously not in the 1000, but they have raced at the track. Last edited by Kixx; 12 Mar 2004 at 01:58. |

I think you will find that Steve Johnson is the heaviest driver mainly due to his height.
Jim Richards is a Kiwi and Win Percy is a brit. And a Holden ute has raced at Bathurst in a brute race and I believe a Holden ute also contested the Bathurst 12 hour in easter. Last edited by Dirk; 12 Mar 2004 at 02:02. |

Yes it was definately sponsored by AKUBRA but if it was a VP ute then it would have had to have been at least 1989 wouldn't it??

Gricey ran the VP ute in 1992; thought he was funny beating AJ's M5 in lap times...probably was....

Irrespective of Gricey's VP ute efforts; his quotes were always quite good:
RE: NASCAR RACING, and the steering wheel came off in his (Gricey's) hands: "Well it certainly got my "f**king attention!" Bathurst 1987: "Yes Win; But, green means go in any language" Ch.7: "Go Winnie, Go" Win: "I'm Going, I'm Going" Afterwards: - Ch.7:"That says it all" (AG shaking the RHS wheel of the Roadways/Chickadee car when it's in it's pit stop; the axle has failed.... fixed Last edited by MHDT; 12 Mar 2004 at 11:34. |

Actually, Craig Lowndes is the heaviest driver...because he's got the biggest balls!

No, I actually think Murf would be the pick of the field... in the right environment, with the right motivation, right team, right car, right funding... Murf could be absolutely brilliant.

Its different though, Murf has a talent that needs nurturing... and if it happened, he would wipe the floor with the rest of the HMS crowd.

I know GTR, just stirring! He is a great talent and I do agree he could possibly be the best in the field.

And if you could make that intensity last for 13 rounds, you would have a series champion!

Murf is good and finally the forum lot are recognising that!
Expect hail stones the size of Holdens in the Blue Mountains tomorrow! As an all-rounder, I would pick Murf. Lowndes has dwindled a bit, but that is probably due to technical issues rather than raw talent. Hopefully Murf isn't bridesmaid this year and can carry GP form across 2004. |

I wasn't necessarily - well in fact, I wasn't - referring to you, GTR.
Its just that when Murf features on a forum, he is either getting kicked for something, stewards have *******ised him, or he has done a 2:06 at Mt Panorama. |
