He pulled in by us at Knickerbrook with a rear wheel about to drop off. The stub axle had broken at the drive shaft end, allowing it to move outwards. He said he felt it go under braking for the chicane - could have been serious.

OH WICKED!!!! i remember those 2 at oulton last year. i was on druids and they were tooth and nail allthe way through...until blomshisname broke down a few laps from the end.... is the wildcat esprit racing anymore??

It's been close for a couple of years; according to Motorsport News it has had undergone major changes over the winter - let's hope it's reliable (I've pushed it more than once!). It certainly looked fast in practice last Saturday.
