MARSHALS WANTED - Britcar Silverstone 10th October

Hello!
BRSCC Midland Centre are running a Britcar event at Silverstone on Sunday 10th October.
This is already a busy weekend with (amongst others) BRSCC Midland Centre also operating at Rockingham!
If anyone is not already committed to marshalling on that day, please consider Silverstone.
James Tucker always puts together excellent events and I am sure that it will be a good day, for details see http://www.eerc.co.uk/
If you are available, please volunteer to John Sadler (BRSCC) or Pam Dearn (for ES duties) in the usual way or send me an email and I will pass on your details.
Regards,
Julian

Why do they have to be such long and boring races?

Sorry Steve but the Britcar lot provide (IMHO) good entertaining races!

Of course, you could always come to Mallory!! (Not trying to Hi-Jack, Julian!!!)

Would Mark but my leg is in plaster at the moment. To me the races are just to long why run for hours on end yo run the cars to destruction and have to rebuild them?

Prehaps you should ask the teams and drivers that. After all we have 30 plus teams on the grid in the main race at every round. There must be somthing about endurace racing you are missing.

Britcar is OK because it has the entries,it's the endurance sports car races with less than 10 entries that
give endurance racing a bad name. After all the worlds best race is 24 hours long. (and held in France)

Julian,

I have just sent you a PM about marshalling at this event.

And just for the record Stevespurr you have obviously never watched a round as the competition, mix of machinery and drivers taking part is first class. This is a quality series set to get bigger and better.

As you have asked so nicely I will attend Silverstone on the 10th. It's either that or gardening.

The racing better be good!

Girds are shaping up very strongly with 35+ cars for the Britcar Race and 25+ for Britsports/Goldarts.
