Considering there will more than likely only be one maker for the COTF chassis i don't see what the issue is.

Oh yes i do.

Some one from DJR ran over your dog or something.

You should seek proffessional help for your problems with DJR

Getting back to Courtney and DJR, they seem to have found some serious performance from that car and it will be interesting to see if it continues in the following rounds.

Thanks.
DJR might not have any financial troubles at present but have all it's suppliers & creditors from the past troubled period been paid yet??

Didn't Courtney win a few races last year in the same car?

Maybe, but the last two rounds have been a quantum leap forward IMO. Especially last Sundays race where he had to come from behind. Have they found something new or was it just good strategy and good luck.

I think you will find it has had such speed on occasions, Just more consistent over the last 2 rounds. Being soft tire round may have played a part too.

Maybe, but they all have soft tyres.

If the COTF cars are the same (except for the skin) why wouldn't they sell them to other teams for a profit?

Good point...

One wonders if the more astute manufacturers will provide a clause in the contract saying "no new chassis to teams running other makes".

The actual chassis will be the same regardless if it is a Ford or a Holden.
The only thing that will be different will be the panels and how they bolt to the chassis.

I'll nearly bet my left one that 888 builds all of them.

Skaifey is the man on the COTF
Skaifey now has an enduro drive with 888

Probably because no-one is obliged to. Sounds like a matter between DJR and their suppliers and creditors.

Did you pay your credit card last month? Not any of our business either.

Well you'd probably have to ask Dick Johnson himself for that answer but it wouldn't stop some of rumour mongers around here claiming he still owed money even if he had paid all his creditors

Suppose it depends on who your sources are as to what you believe the answer to be.

JC has done good with sprint tyres under him. Lets see what happens when we revert back to the normal control tyre. I think this has been a great change in the championship because if anyone remembers the first 2-3 rounds, you'd just assume the battle was on for 2nd place as JW had sailed into the sunset.

Put up or shut up and don't use the words "alledgedly or rumour"

Like i said even if he had paid them off some here would still be sprouting that he owed the creditors. Damned if he did damned if he didnt.

You post kind of proves the point
