What were the best tires from the years gone past? And what tires have been used this year?

Tyres are an odd issue in this sport, some seasons there seemed to be so many problems with them, and other years you barely heard a mention about them.

I agree, like in the early 90s, like in 91, when Cleland's Dunlops would lose everything in the middle of the race, or Radisich in 94 or 95 when the tires would go just crazy.
