Thank you.

Happy 2016
I have one car onfile that has 06 as a number and it was raced until some years ago by Michel and Corentine Quiniou. (Black with a white band over the nose). As Michel has incurred serious health problems I can imagine that is being offered for sale, but he may have done that already before his problems, because I haven't seen the car for a whiel. I never asked whether it was a proper car, but I did not have the impression.

Quiniou also ran a red one, with a similar white band, for which I have been able to actually shoot a plate, indicating that it was chassis 20.

Thank you very much. It is very helpful. I am told that the current owner of this car is Kent Abrahamsson, and that the car was delivered by the factory to John Burton back in 1970. I am still waiting for more information.

If Kent is the current owner, than the Quiniou car that is saw is most likely not 06

A car with this chassis number ran at the European SuperSports race at Zolder in August 1983. As 1983 is probably a bit early to be faking B16s, I'd suggest that whichever car can be traced back to that 1983 ownership is most likely to be the real one.

However, without a full provenance, I'd be wary of either.

I think Kent had/has a couple , a blue one and a white one.

but not true

The suggestion in that link is that "someone" has the Chevron rights and approval.

the only problem is that roger Andreason and I have owned chevron with all IP, factory drawings, jigs, body moulds and patterns since 1983. we also own the individual trademarks Chevron b8, Chevron B16 etc and will take action against any breach of those trademarks. caveat Emptor...

Then I am sure you already took legal action against those who advertised in that link....

Chevron B16 DBE 21

Does anyone have any ownership history of this chassis while in the US. I am doing research on this vehicle and there is not enough information from 1970 through 1979 prior to going to the UK. Research has got me at a standstill in 1973...can anyone add to this?

Sandy Watson has owned a car with this number, he might know (or not). Als whether the car he had is indeed the ex-Baker car.
