jonboy1066 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Just been trying the demo for the last hour.

Not really won over or overly impressed.

Just seems like a shinier FM3 to me with more cars on track.

Pitting doesn't repair bodywork ... Again
Wheels spin too easily ... Again
Brakes lock too easily ... Again
Car slides too easily ... Again
Cars are too fragile ... Again

Slides are caught way too easily ... easier than ever before, infact there is some kind of weird assists even with assists turned off that turns my wheel for me into the ideal position to hold a drift.

Do I like it ... yeah kinda, but I liked FM3 ... I just couldn't love it.

Is it an improvement on the previous titles ... a bit, but 16 car grids and a more weighty feeling to the cars has helped, but on the whole it just seems more of the same to me.

Will I buy it? Maybe after christmas or if I get convinced by someones elses copy If I get a go of some of the R Class cars

Am I excited by it ... nope ... another stamp collecting, chavvy, drift fest Tesco Car park game as expected, nicer and prettier than its predesessor but that's a given, I'll get it and enjoy aspects of it I'm sure but more because I have good mates who I know will be playing it and i enjoy playing online no matter what the game is.

I prefer the gritty immersion of F1 2011 and even Shift2 so F1 will keep me happy for as long while yet.

Looks like this will be the last driving sim I'll need to buy on this generation of consoles.

I enjoy creating race replicas as much as the actual driving so that extends the life of the game considerably. With the RS500, E30 M3 etc. there's going to be plenty of Group A replicas.

For £108, you can get Forza 4 with a Thrustmaster 458 Italia wheel. For the more ''budget'' racers.

They sold out of the LCE here except Best Buy and apparently theyd rather play the game than sell me one. Had to order the regular edition at Gamestop but won't have to wait for UPS in the afternoon and have tomorrow off.

I'll be picking it up on the way home from Uni, I honestly can't wait.

Then there is just the matter of putting up with my wonky MS wheel till the Madcatz comes out, or, if I want to wait longer, a Fanatec CSR..

I never got myself excited for this, I always had my gripes with Forza 3. But its out now, and i've been watching plenty of gameplay. I can't wait to have a go tomorrow afternoon.

that is a good reason, I just have to wait for Dec 25 to come around (at least i have put in the code for a Mini John Cooper Wors Clubman on my x-box 360 as my Mum went to Gamestation today to get Forza 4 for Dec 25) (Also give time for bugs to be found)

Good one fella, when you get it on the day everyone goes crazy lol, send me a friend request and we can arrange a race sometime. I'm always taking part in little championships me and my fellow xbox mates set up.

I'm in the WorldLeagueRacing club.

I'm not bowled over by the game. There's a few nice touches, but stuff like the Autovista feature is a waste of time, effort and space on the discs. I've always enjoyed painting the cars, and with the ability to import your fm3 saved layer groups I was particularly happy, but half of my layer groups haven't made it across which has annoyed me massively. The handling is poor compared to GT5 as well.

Its fixed all the gripes I had with Forza 3, so i'm happy with it. I treat it more as a ''platform for online league racing'' rather than a game I can sit and play on my own.

The sound is the biggest improvement for me, difficult to know how it can be improved.

A pleasant suprise to find all races, even those with superminis, are very enjoyable, not like GT5's grind.

The sound is excellent, rumour has it some of the staff that worked on PGR4 did some work for turn ten, would make sense if true. Not GT bashing but to my ears Forza has really left GT behind in this regard (there are some exceptions on both sides of the fence).

Love the fact that all the cockpit displays on the R class cars work now .

Just chose the Opel Astra DTM racer as a level reward prize. Wonderful car, sounds great and is really planted in the rear compared to some other R2 cars like the Aston
