Alan Crook should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2nd Bahamas Speed Week Revival

Late November / early December I was in the Bahamas for the 2nd Bahamas Speed Week Revival. The competitive part of the event was a hillclimb and a sprint, the sprint was on a lengthened circuit which was a vast improvement on last year. This year there were also some demo races. Some interesting cars took part, here are a few photos to show you the event.

Thanks Alan for the pics. Is that spots of rain I see in one of them?

The black frogeye with disc wheels, hubcaps and whitewall tyres is sooooo cool.

What's the white car next to it...Meadows Friskysport comes to mind (Think I had a Spot-On model of one, back in the day, but I could well be wrong...'twas a long time ago

Stirling seems to be in his element, keeping abreat of developments....

Sir Stirling looks as if he has gone weak at the knees, or they are tall young ladies.......

Initially thought the little white convertible was a BMW 700, but don't think it is now on second look.

Edit, just found a pic of one with same front bumper style, so could be! Cancel that, windscreen is all wrong......

Yes they were tall young ladies as you can see from one of the photos below, Susie is keeping an eye on Sterling as usual.

Some of the interesting cars present were :-

No 2 David Cottingham 1957 Ferrari 500 TRC
No 3 Mike Fisher 1959 Bocar
No 4 Jonathan Turner 1952 C Type Jaguar
No 5 Ron Gammons 1958 Devin SS
No 6 Paul Griffin 1959 Cooper Monaco
No 8 Simon Arscott 1965 Aston Martin DB5
No 9 Andreas Mohringer 1953 Ferrari 375 MM Pinin Farina Spider (Very Original)

I think this is what Peter said it was, so you get a gold star (if I have remembered right).
