car museums in Rome?
Hello all.
Easy question. Are there any "must see" car or racing museums in Rome or Florence? I will be there in October as part of a tour group so anyplace suggested will have to be within reasonable cab distance of the major tourist areas. Obviously, I've never been to Italy before. |

Re: car museums in Rome?
There are a couple, but not any must see ones that I know of.
There'll be plenty to see and do anyway, without worrying about car museums. It's an historical extravaganza. Stacy. |

On a lake about 20 miles north of Rome is a great plane museum - full of really barmy stuff - I think its called Vigne dei Valli - having said that I'm with Stacy - no must see ones - just wallow in the awesome stuff around you
