Pics wanted of Bathurst 24hour monaro's

Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has some pictures of both Bathurst 24hour monaros. 427 and 05.

The nations cup had a different livery, so i was mainly after the Bathurst ones. I've hunted the net and all i found were about 5 different tiny images, that really didn't help me.

So realy i'm asking if anyone that was at the 24hour, that has decent quality pics and can email, or has hosted images somewhere, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I think '22' was looked after by Jocaro Motors for a while, even did a Friday practice at Phillip Island state round and was at Sandown Historics last year and did a couple of laps...I have some pics somewhere but it'll be he current livery which is Poolrite. Who owns it atm? Which car does Rob Sherrard own then? I thought he has a Brock car...

Rob Sherrard has the red genuine GRM-built 2003 B24 winner....

The yellow genuine GRM-built 2002 B24 winner is still in Mr Rogers' shed at Glen Waverly...

The red James Brock-built #22/#05 was sitting at Maranello Motorsport in Melbourne for sale for a long time... I think Mike Abay still has it.. for sale...

That would explain why Jocaro were looking after it...

The Emotioanl Engineering Monaro that ran in the British GT was an ex GRM car. I was led to believe it was one of those cars

The EE car was a GRM-supplied shell and other pieces, but is not the same spec as either of the GRM-built B24 winners....

The #22/#05 car, the James Brock built car, was originally for sale at ~$400k, which has apparently tempered to ~A$325k or so....

The GRM-built cars are owned by Holden, and they are usually pretty good at keeping collectibles in their shed... not sure how Mr Sherrard got his...

I presume GRM would build you a new one... likely price starts @ A$400k as they are similar in build time/quality/equipment as a V8Supercar, depending on specification as ever....

The EE car also ran a 5.7ltr engine, not the 7 Litre engine like the Nations Cup Monaro. It was basically built to N-GT specs, unlike the Nations Cup Monaro's....

Do Emotional Engineering still run the car (in Britcar perhaps, as it's not eligible for British GT anymore), and if not, where is it?

Last I knew it was running in Britcar but was going to be retired I think at the end of 2007 season. It also lost the V8 Supercar style front splitter in favour of a VXR/HSV monaro styled one. http://www.ukmotorsportpics.com/p29590482.html
But I read somewhere that they were looking into building a race version of the VE Clubsport...The Vauxhall VXR8

Your right there with that one GTR. Four chassis where made in total I'm told.
Small known or unknown fact is that the rear suspension in the car was designed by Harrop. Due to the fact that the car had to run the same sort of IRIS setup as the road car, Harrop developed a one piece unit that could just be bolted in and out. I think they ran 13inch wide rears, so it had to bolt into a very different rear end as well.

I'd start at $500K. You would have to probably provide a donor car to be strip and prepared, chassis parts would come at a premiuim, along with the fabrication and preparation of the car.

GRM sortly after the 2002 B24 sold the original 427 motor. It went for over $50k.
