Quick question from me. How does it look with the factory support for ADAC GT teams? For example are both HTP Motorsport and ZAKSPEED Mercedes factory- supported teams?

Are you able to go into more detail?

Never mind I just saw an article somewhere else.

If AMG is indeed innocent and Zakspeed did this all by themselves then that's a stupid thing to do.

So apparently on the weekend at Sachsenring Zakspeed were disqualified from race two after finding irregularities with their engines. Going by a translation of the below article 'adjustment range of camshafts didn't correspond to the homologation status of the vehicle' AMG denied all knowledge of their being any funny stuff with the engines, saying that the team did it all by themselves without AMG's knowledge or authorisation and have thus cancelled the contract they had with Zakspeed as a customer team with immediate effect. Zakspeed appealed initially but withdrew their appeal on Monday. Admission of guilt? AMG are claiming innocence but we all know what happened at Spa last year. Now Zakspeed are claiming they ended the relationship. I can see both parties could be guilty, on one hand you've got AMG who've tried this before and then you have Zakspeed who I'm sure would be stupid enough to do something like this.

Wow. Then at least one of them is being unusually dishonest.

True.

But everything I've heard so far leads me to believe AMG were the innocent party in all this which after Spa last year is hard to believe.

ADAC GT Masters 2017

Congrats to the new champion Jules Gounon!

Shame that Eng/Catsburg couldn't get closer in the first race to bring it to the last race a decider. It could've all ended anyway on the first lap but thanks to Catsburg's cat like reflexes he avoided the carnage of first lap.

Surprised to see Zakspeed there after last weekends shenanigans.
