Retirement
Just a short message to all the F Ford drivers and teams that I have met over the years to say that I am retiring from photography before the start of the new season.

Hi Dave Sorry to hear that you are leaving the fold. I on the other hand have recently just started. I suppose things have moved on a great deal since you began back in the 70's.
Did you find it so difficult to GET IN ie media accreditation etc. It seems like a brick wall scenario. Please do you have any advice or would be willing to pass on tips/ contacts etc. Last year I gained accreditation for a few events in 2007 but as you are aware most events require editors letter or 20+ published articles. as I am new and freelance it's like trying to plait fog! I know that you are leaving it all behind but if you would like to mentor another budding 'headcase' i would be EXTREEMLY gratefull. Yours faithfuly in hope - Ian Wilde |
