joss Ronchetti should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What race license do you need for the Spa 6hours?

To race in the Spa 6 hours do youu need an International License or will a National A license be OK?

It says "a licence that allows you to compete abroad". In our case that means a Nat A, until the EU breaks up anyway.

We ran with Nat A last year and that's all we have this year. If so then we won't be racing.

If anyone argues tell them they're in breach of treaty article 28.

Licence requirements for the 6 hour are as stated in the suplimentary regulations for that race but DO NOT apply to the races run under Masters regulations, some of which do require an international licence.

Thanks guys, I was running round like a headless chicken for a bit then trying to organise Stress ECG's etc
I have spoken to Vincent @ Redbook & he has confirmed Nat A is fine, I have also informed the 'Masters' that their information is incorrect

Masters information is not inaccurate - as i said previously, some Masters categories require an international licence and it may have been how you asked the question

Mike. Thanks for your welcome. I'm only dipping in and out of Tenths at the moment and having a heavy sulk that I'm not well enough to travel to Spa.

I suspect Masters won't allow you to race a F1 or prototype on a Nat A Joss. You probably didn't ask the right question. Anyway the regs are perfectly clear.

Terry, the forecast is for sun so I expect you are correct with the rain. Are there any issues with the roads via Brussels or Lille at the moment?

Peter the article and the subsequent judgement related to a professional sportsman who argued that he was being restrained in his trade.
My understanding is that a weeked joyrider might find it difficult to argue the same case.

lol, it goes a bit further than that. I'd argue it on principle. Nothing to do with trade but more to do with free movement of goods and services. if it's allowed in the UK then it can't be restricted in Belgium unless, for public security or health reasons. Might fail but by the time it got to court the race would be over.
