Vettel was just on another plane today. It isn't easy to drop Lewis Hamilton in a KERS boosted McLaren, but Vettel drove a flawless race.

I have to go with Vettel on this one. Flawless drive and was in control the whole race. Lewis also did a good job of holding off Kimi with the extra weight of his broken KERS towards the end of the race, I was expecting him to be overtaken as soon as the safety car went in.

Heidfeld.
Vettel was brilliant though, and a mention to Alguersuari who was ahead of Teflonso before the crash. |

Vet L. Was hoping Trulli could have a run at him after the SC but Grosjean was still in the way (what happened to the rule about backmarkers clearing out of the way?)

Had to be Vettel or Trulli. Although Vettel deserves it more, I voted for Trulli, just because I didn't think he'd get any votes.

Vettel, car and driver completely as one today.
Can't give it to Jarno because as much as he's a nice bloke he can only pull one decent result a year out of the bag nowadays (it used to be 2...) |

Manouvre of the day was Kovalainen vs Fisichella at the pit exit
Driver of the day for me was Jarno Trulli, with Kubica following closely |

Trulli, Webber sacrificed by team to find the limit and supplied the answer, Vettel handed pole on a plate, both Brawns kept out of the race by pit lane politics and stupid rules, the FIA must give attention to practice period times where they are interupted by boys who should still be in a pram let alone an F1 car. Vettel drove a faultless race and due credit but the Briatore tatics are still prevalant

Vettel. Jenson very good thuogh. Smart move on Kubica, even smarter in staying out of trouble in the Sutil-Heikki rumble.

i've never had a reason to vote for Trulli before so he got my vote today.
seeing him emerge ahead of Hamilton after his pitstop was one of the most surprising on track events i have seen in a long time. i missed the press conference thought...who was his podium dedicated too? |

for putting up with a car 2 of his teammates managed to fence without destroying it, but with his luck, he cracked the tub....
... and with no warm up, the RBR team didnt realise the cockpit shroud was not affixed correctly on the new tub... and it took 2 stops to fix this.... Fastest Lap of the race should have been a give, being so piddled off with everything that went wrong that weekend! Go Potsie! |

Vettel was supreme (I loved his on-board qualifying lap) and Trulli did well to get back ahead of Hamilton, but I'd better put my hand up and admit I was the one who voted for Kimi.
In a car that is now distinctly lacking in development he drove hard and fast throughout, being the only driver apart from the Red Bulls to lap in under 1' 33" and it paid off as he managed to jump Heidfeld. I'd hope that any thoughts of lack of motivation have gone away now. This is from James Allen: Quote:
