As a Ford fan I can't help but feel a call from the Holden teams for a parity adjustment can't be far away.

Has anything changed since last year to warrant a parity adjustment?

Holden 2nd and 3rd in championship. Cant see it happening

Agreed.

But so were all previous parity adjustments that went against Ford.

Nah, parity is fine.

Unless you're in a Nissan.

There's already chat that the new de Silversto/Smith combination is contributing heavily to the setup direction of the other three cars. Much like Mr Holdsworth did when he appeared at WR, after they realised the old way of doing things was no longer baring fruit. Kind of coincides with the mutterings around Mr Ingall's alleged attempts in pointing them in a new setup direction last year.

Look at the changes Villeneuve made to WilliamsF1 - someone with a lot of experience entering a team with the right resources can really make a difference. As much as anything else, this is why I love Simona's long term entry into the sport.

PRA got trapped into a similar scenario, whereby the cars were setup around Mr Winterbottom's perferences. If you couldn't drive it his way, you were uncompetitive. Ask Mr Perkins.

not disagreeing with you on this

however, more recent to this, is that was no longer the case and the car had got away from Frosty as it became more tuned for Chaz, and to a lesser extent Cam, However the addition of J Bright is now giving some more Frosty focused information which is why we are starting to see Frosty move forward again as Frosty and Bright like some similar stuff in the car

The Frosty-centric setups seemed to either away once Mr Mostert became the go-to guy for direction.

Evidenced by PRA's fall away after Chaz' accident in '15

Winterbottom was very lucky to hang onto that championship.

Disagree. He won by 238 points, Winterbottom and PRA knew they should take less risks to claim the title.

Do PRA & DJRTP still have a technical / parts relationship? Wondering if the PRA resurgence and DJRTP rise is coincidence or collaboration?

Sure, he was still banking points but on the subject of form, either Triple Eight car outscored him considerably, post-Bathurst (Mostert's demise).

Mostert and De Borre play a big role in that teams success I think. Last year De Borre was not there, no success for Chaz, as a result no success for anyone else. Frosty was working with Chaz's set ups in 2015 and is again this year, we see the pace back and fighting. Last year could be said to be no funding, yet if it was the case we wouldn't see them at the front this year you would think, they are battling DJRTP and T8

Seems unlikely that they collaborate anymore. I imagine now DJRTP have the experience (not to mention the resources) to build all their own stuff (e.g., front subframe etc).

The 2 teams have been working together towards the Mustang option but doubt there's much other info sharing going on.
