Peter Harding should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
750MC Festival Silverstone 27/8 Aug

Should get tickets tomorrow so will get to you Thurs/Fri of this week.

Formula Vee are once again having a BBQ on Saturday night and all marshals are invited. If marshals let me know if they are coming to BBQ, I can advise vees who will get the correct amount of food/drink.

Sunday will start with a few parades before marshals due on post. After that we will go staright through to, hopefully, an early finish.

Fantastic news. Well done the Vee guys (again)!! I'll let you know that there will be about a group of 10 of us going (although were volunteered through Pam).

Slight delay with tickets. They arrived today but only have enough for half the marshals. Have asked for more which should arrive tomorrow.

Means some of you won't get them until Monday (maybe Tuesday).

Despite being at Snet over the weekend, I will work in the evenings to ensure they get out as quickly as possible

Forget the overtime. I posted the last tickets just now so all should be with you by Monday.

Camping is on the grass next to the old runway. There will be a few others there for sure.

The is a toilet block nearby, showers are in the superloos in the paddock.

Nope, even on only a few hours sleep we usually still have fun...you have to make it what you will...If you say your not going to enjoy it you won't. If you go in with an open mind you can have a fantastic time...and we always do.

It's on the 750MC site Mark, under "next meeting" or whatever it says.

Well, the wife says I can't do Silverstone as I'll be home too late - so I have volunteered for Oulton instead.

The info on the web site is a copy of the finals.
Since they were produced, the number of entries for 750Formula and Bikesports have gone above one gridful although it's not too many to practice together. So there is one extra race on Saturday to split the two. We will still try and start the last race by 5.00.

Also - I have been advised that the Locost competitors are having a BBQ on Saturday night to which all marshals are invited. You will have to decide which BBQ to attend unless you think you can handle double everything.

Look out on Sunday for the REALLY "fat clerk".

I'm really looking forward to this meeting.

I used to mechanic for a Formula Vee (The Rossalini) and loved going round all the circuits, really good atmosphere. And the races are never boring.

If it's as good as Im hoping. I won't be dissapointed.

Tell you what, it would be rude not to put a visit into both Barbies, don't you think? see you there.

VEE! we will steal the Locost BBQ!

Plus Woodyracing and Racie_Katie might do their bit for driver Marshal relations again, then theres live music (Simon Keating style) and you never know you might just see Alan Harding smile (because I gave him money)

I have never seen a bad vee race...some are better than others, but i've never seen a bad one!

Although with Sam not racing some of the entertainment had been taken out of this...although having said that isn't FilW out in this one?!

Don't expect me to be doing anything for driver marshal relations though

Thanks Chezza
When any luck any entertainment will be limited to on the tarmac, pointing the right way and involve stunning overtaking and awesome car control...........

More probably it will consist of spinning, blowing up or burying it in a tyre wall again

I'm only going for the BBQ really

Cor! Tremendous!

That is some of the best racing I have seen in a long while.

I was based at Copse and we didnt really have too much, couple of spinners.

But wow the Vees, the stock hatches, we may have finished late but we got an hour lunch break.

Thanks to the organisers and I am happy to say I have got another day tomorrow!
