VESA to introduce 6.0L V8's

It has been announced today by technical director Cambell Little that the V8 Supercars are moving from cast-iron 5.0L V8's to aluminium alloy 6.0L V8 engines.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE! SOURCE HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI

What do you guys think? It's more in line with road going cars of today and who else makes cast iron 5.0L V8 engines these days?
