If Nissan won the '99 championship, why did they switch engine builders mid-season? Usually switching engine builders, especially during mid-season, is a sign that things aren't going too well? Or were both engine builders that good that reliability was not a problem, but rather hp related??

I don't know guys. I surely remember a year that Nissan switched tuners mid-season. I think it was the year they won the championship. But I could be wrong.

Did IES not supply some Le Mans teams with engines?

Why will AER not supply MG with engines next year?

I think AER would supply MG with engines quite happily, but MG are not getting the results with these engines.

Take Croft, for example. Lost 40 points due to engine changes that weekend (5 points subtracted per engine change..)

Another point I could raise - could the standard engine take the strain of 270 bhp ?
