obviously there are no news from AFOS for the New championship , so i believe that will not happen this season at least ...

According to the calendar in www.art-motorsports.com they did communicate somethig to the teams.

yeah boos. the calendar is updated.
i heard afos hired someone to manage the championship the properly.  and afos races in china will be prohibited.

Asian Formula Renault Championship is registered under Zone Events in FIA calendar for this weekend in Shanghai, 24/5 in Shanghai again and 20/9 in Zhuhai.

nobody knows but frd has a rce at shanghai. a friend told me frenault cars were closed in little tents when formula west cars had rights to stay in the big shanghai pits. art didnt show up for the race and frd is hanging around to kick champ motorsports out. i can see devil walking in the street.

Why would FRD kick Champ Motorsports out?
I think this week was supposed to be the first round of the "New" Championship, so i guess ART and others sent their cars there but then it has been cancelled Does somebody can comfirm ? |

Champ is planning to enter both series according to their wesbite. I think FRD wants them to commit one way or the other.

yes but on the March3 report it is written "FR2.0 Asia race report" which mean the last week end was a "new Championship " event but still organized by FRD
