NASCAR in UK ???
OK I have searched everywhere, I have mates at work who have heard about it but no knows where it is ? What you ask ? A new track in the UK that is set to host NASCAR style racing ? Anyone know about this ? I heard about it on News at Ten when Dale Earnhardt's death was reported, Trevor McDonald stated that "Danger sport comes to Britain ! ". Typically over the top but I have heard nothing since ? Was I dreaming ? Please confirm . Thanks IanB

I'm guessing you mean the new Rockingham oval and the ASCAR series which may or may not be about ready to debut.
As far as "Danger Sport comes to Britain" - that sounds more like an intro for Rollerball than a NASCAR race. Last edited by zealot; 1 Aug 2001 at 20:27. |

Thanks Zealot , that is the one I've been looking for. Typically after your reply to my query the Daily Express ran an article about the upcoming Fedex race , but at least I know where to head for now, thanks again . IB
