I wonder why LMP2 was dubbed the most likely option? The staff at E-I know quite a few things I don't, but I'd expect GTE-Pro for such a seasoned GT racer.

Despite their confirmation - why am I not surprised. I don't see the point any more in giving auto entries to U.S. teams.

Just a waste of a process and press releases.

At least they didn't do what ESM did last year and actually file their entry before backing out.

I agree. Dyson, ESM and now Pickett - the list is growing, not what the ACO need.

Situation would have been similar with the American teams last year, Muscle Milk would have no tire data since they are running Continentals in TUSCC

So what, go to the test day and drive. Make your decision then. Can't be that hard to figure out. They could even borrow a chassis and get some tips from oreca on set up for le mans.

If they couldn't get tyres that's one thing. I don't buy the 'no data' argument as Oreca have everything they need and more.
